These are the components that comes with the trailer hitch. Notice that it does NOT include a hitch ball. You'll have to find an appropriate one for your specific trailer application.

You can start be removing the cover in the trunk. It's held in place by various plastic pop-offs. Be patient to avoid damaging them. You'll then see the bare metal trunk as pictured. You will need to drill 4 holes in this area to mount the hitch to.

Jack up the rear of the car and place jack stands underneath in the proper positions.

Remove the muffler tips. You'll need them out of the way when you drill a hole near the muffler.

Have a buddy hold the trailer hitch in place while you mark the place where the 4 mounting holes should be

Grab a drill with a drill bit just larger than the .

Use a de-burring bit to smooth out the holes.

By now, you should be aware that the hitch will need to be mounted to this area too.

I used a tap to start the hole. Use a long drill bit and drill the hole.
