Acura Division is pleased to announce the release of the 2009 RL effective June 20, 2008. The 2009 RL represents the most extensive Minor Model Change ever for an Acura vehicle.
Changes for this Minor Model Change include:
- Completely refreshed and bold exterior styling.
- Engine upgrade from 3.5L to 3.7L, achieving 300hp.
- Dynamic performance enhancements include tire and wheel upgrades from 17” to 18”, revised suspension and steering settings and re-programming of the SH-AWD system for more immediate response.
- Interior changes include the addition of Driver’s and Front Passenger’s Ventilated Seats, Driver’s and Front Passenger’s 10-Way Power Seats, Wood and Leather Steering Wheel and Wood Shift Knob in the Tech and CMBS Packages.
- Technological changes include the addition of USB connectivity, XM Real-Time Traffic and Weather, Traffic Re-routing and Note Function.
- Adaptive Cruise Control and Crash Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) will be offered as a stand-alone Package. (PAX Tires will no longer be offered)
