Did you do rust proofing? Or are you just going to keep it as clean as possible?

I won't have it long enough to worry about that.

FYI clean the inside of the rear wheel wells as best you can (especially at the top)

Hondas/Acuras are prone for rust in those spots fairly quickly (i.e. < 5 years) if ignored consistently (probably most cars are)

I've driven everything from a 92 VX Hatch to this Type-R down here in lower Michigan and rust isn't a huge issue. It is in the Upper Peninsula where road salt/dirt mix is common and this car probably won't be exposed to that again.

You are probably right in your area.

I am from Canada so salt/dirt/snow does a real number to the rear wheel arches if not kept clean.

Salt and corrosion are major problems in Ontario/Quebec, but not in the West.

Agreed. None of my vehicles have had any rust issues (at all), living in Alberta. I'm now in BC and we get tons of rain but virtually no snow (in Vancouver area). While the air may be somewhat salty, vehicles here still seem to be quite clean, even after 10 years. I think the constant washing by rain helps them out...

It might be my imagination but this car seems louder in the cabin in colder weather...like the exhaust drone is louder. I started to realize it when every single person I talk to over bluetooth has commented that there is quite a loud drone when I am going 75+ on cruise.

How are panel gaps on your CTR? Iíve heard build quality is just ok. Waiting to see what else Honda has in the pipeline but may pick one up.

Indeed - it's mostly noise from the hard steamroller tyres.

But also, rubber suspension bushes lack compliance and even damper oil is gloopier. So NVH goes out the window.

It's particularly noticeable in the S2000.

Also - a cold flute sounds horrible and so will your gun.

Be careful not to mix these up. Sticking a bank up with a flute, and turning up to orchestra practice and pulling out a gun would both be eventful, though equally unsuccessful.
