Is there a way to set the rev limiter at 4500 rpm?

Unless the turbo is swapped for a slightly bigger one... RDX is just all noise falling off the cliff past 4500 rpm.

You have that right. All the Hondata Flash Pro does is give you low end torque. Great for towing but that is it. Get on the gas and let it down shift and engine spends all its time above 4500 where there is virtually no gain. The CTR turbo is a direct bolt on the RDX. Lets hope they come out with a kit and the 10 speed can handle the torque.

Isnt CTR turbo aligned with CTR exhaust manifold which is built into CTR head?
Imo, swaping ctr things might be an expensive process. If we take ctr parts and add labour it should cost around 5-6k in total. And what would be the point of all that after RDX TypeS arrives with a similar increase in the price to that swap?

The exhaust manifold is built into the head but the turbo just bolts to to it. Hondata has done it. You can buy a brand new CTR turbo for $1300. So with that turbo, tune, intercooler and labor, you could be all in for $3000. I agree to wait for the Type S RDX if it ever gets here, when it ever gets here, and how much of a premium they want for it.

I don't think you really wanna set the rev limiter to 4500rpm haha. Yes the torque drops off dramatically after that point. But it's hp that counts and from the graph, the engine is making 220-230whp from 4500-6200rpm. If you rev to over 6000rpm and shift up, you will stay in that 220-230whp powerband. If you just rev to 4500rpm and shift up, you will reach 220whp briefly, then goes back to like 3000rpm with like 155whp. The torque drops off after 4500rpm, but the gearing helps with maintaining the power. If the engine keeps on making 260lbft of torque from 4500rpm to 6200rpm, the engine would probably peak at like 280-300whp.
