Temple of VTEC Rumors and News - Honda launching 4 city 'Civic Milestones' tour, starting this weekend in LA

Our friends at Honda PR have alerted us to Civic celebration tour involving 4 cities. They are teaming up with Street Dreams Magazine to host a 2 mile photo walk and Civic owners meet-up. The idea is to highlight and display the many milestones leading up to the 10th generation 2016 Honda Civic.

As such, Honda is inviting any and all Civic owners to come out to LA to participate in the kickoff event this Saturday. There will be refreshments and music at the end of the photo walk, as well as the opportunity to check out the new 2016 Civic and Civic Coupe.

Here's some more info from the email that was sent to me.

In short, we're rallying a bunch of owners and fans together to meet-up at
the final stop of the walk in four big cities. While there, they'll get the
chance to hang out, show off their rides, check out tons of cool cars, and
get some killer Civic shots in the cities' most scenic spots. We're
focusing on LA, Austin, DC and New York, and this weekend will mark the
beginning of the program, hosted in LA.

Street Dreams will also tap into their huge network of photographers, as
they're using this opportunity to create a special issue, just based on
Civic Milestones. Owners who attend might even end up in the magazine with
their cars, which could be a really cool keepsake, and we're putting
together a hashtag (#nextmilestone) so everyone's photos will stream
together on Instagram and Twitter.

Civic Owners Meet-up

When: Saturday, February 13th, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. PST (may arrive between 1-3pm)

Photo Walk

When: Saturday, February 13th, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. PST

Where: 100 N. Myers St., Los Angeles, CA

We'll have refreshments, music, etc. available at the end of the photo
walk, too, so the owners will have plenty of time to hang out, and check
out the 2016 Honda Civic.
