This is from the latest SCOOP at MagX.com, it reads:

"The new sport Hatch Back will have a essence from the Bulldog. It will share the Global Small Platform with the Fit."
"At the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001, there was another interesting design study called 'Bulldog'. It was a sports coupe with practicality of Hatch Back added to it."
"Internal source says that the model has been called '3 by 2' and the development has been progressing towards its debut in early 2004."
