Honda Posts a Surprise Gain in Q4 Profits

The AP and Reuters are reporting that Honda's strong Q4 sales figures resulted in an unexpected 31% boost in profits, as opposed to an anticipated drop.

Cited as reasons were increases in sales in the US and Asia, of 19000 and 32000 units, respectively. These increases offset a dip of 25000 sales in the home Japanese market.
