TOV member Malcom Roberts and his son Shane were out enjoying a visit to the USA's desert southwest when they happened upon a peculiar group of (mostly black) late-model Porsches. We're not Porsche experts, but it appears that the Roberts' family stumbled across roughly 75% of Porsche's model lineup for 2009. Malcom is a Honda fan through and through, but he decided to donate this set of pics to the TOV in hopes that maybe we could possibly sell or barter these images for more Honda-related spyshots. I offered them to several outlets, but there were no takers. As far as spy shots go, these are pretty good quality, so rather than let them go unseen, I decided to show them here.
Special thanks to Malcom and son Shane for sharing these pics with the TOV.
Here's the e-mail that came attached with the images:

A couple of weeks ago we spotted at least 11 black Porsches in Death Valley. My attention was
initially drawn by a loud engine noise of a Porsche idling in the carpark at Furnace Creek.
Not being a Porsche fan I didn't think anything of it. When we pulled onto the highway we spotted
another ten black Porsches - including two with rounded rear fenders. We guesed then they were
undergoing hot weather testing but were not able to stop to take photos.
This afternoon in Kayenta AZ, we saw a Porsche covered in vinyl in the car park at the local Burger
King. Then we noticed many Porsches, mostly black and including one convertible. Most seemed to
be 911's but at least one Boxster.
Our 14 year old son, Shane, took several photos.
We have tried to send the photos once and lost internet connection. We'll send one at a time now.
We hope they're of use to you. Please use as you want.
