Microsoft will launch its latest Windows operating system for automobiles next week in Europe, the Associated Press reports.

Microsoft said eight auto manufacturers and some of their suppliers are already working on navigation, safety and entertainment systems that will use the new software, which is called Windows Automotive 4.2.
To date, automakers using Windows automotive technology are BMW, Fiat, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Toyota, Volvo, Honda and Citroen, the story said. |
I can't wait to experience the Blue Screen of Death in my own car! This is great, but how do you do the Three Finger Salute ( < CTRL > < ALT > < DEL > )?? Will dealers be responsible for installing service packs? Sorry, that was the low hanging fruit...
