Neal's Fantasy Factory has been running at full capacity, lately turning three shifts just to meet demand for the wildly successful CLX Coupe. The CLX's broad appeal is not a surprise in the North American marketplace, where coupes have long been hot sellers, but now the Fantasy Factory decided to venture out into more dangerous territory - the Sport Wagon.
Sport Wagons are generally loved by enthusiasts, but seem to be a tougher sell to the general audience, losing out to tippy crossovers and sport utes. As someone who recently endured the 2014 Atlanta Snowpocalypse, where I witnessed endless scenes of crossovers, pickup trucks, and sport utes resting on their roofs in ditches, I personally prefer to stay closer to the ground, in a lighter weight, more agile vehicle, such as my TSX Sportwagon. I would love to add SH-AWD and at least 50% more horsepower to the TSX Sportwagon's equation. With the ability to leverage the upcoming TLX's power train, this TLX Wagon concept could be the ticket. Just like the CLX, we could see a range of engines starting with the TLX's naturally aspirated 2.4L 4-cylinder, progressing up to a 280hp 2.0L VTEC Turbo, then on to a N/A 3.5L V6, and ultimately a turbocharged V6, hooked to a next-generation SH-AWD system. Oh, and a 2-motor hybrid option would be dandy as well.
Does all of this sound a little bit far fetched? Perhaps. But remember, Neal's Fantasy Factory is grid-neutral, powered entirely by dreams.
Wallpapers!Don't worry. The TLX Wagon's upholstery is scotchguarded at the factory. The only options are desktop wallpapers, offered in 5 different sizes. Choose and save the desired size in the links below. And, as always, the complete TOV Fantasy Factory collection is available online at: http://issuu.com/nealmcdaniel/docs/tov_fantasy_factory
